There is no denying that the Olympics in China were a spectacle of gigantic proportions. Everything from the opening and closing ceremonies to Michael Phelps eight gold medals to the many world records being smashed…it was a captivating period for sports. Lost in the awe inspiring sights and sounds is another story concerning Chinese Christians being persecuted by the Chinese government leading up to and during the games. After reading this article, I was reminded once again to pray for my brothers and sisters who are facing challenges to their faith that I do not experience here in America. I would invite you to do the same.
