Okay-yes, right up front, this is a shameless appeal, but I think it’s helpful to get this Bible into as many Christians hands as possible for such a good price.

I was able to review a copy yesterday and I thoroughly enjoy it! I got the Tru-Tone Natural Brown and I must say, it’s a beautiful Bible! I’ve used the ESV Reformation Bible since it came out. This new ESV Study Bible is different enough to make a good companion.

The bookstore I work for, Scripture Truth Book Co. will have the ESV Study Bible available starting tomorrow, Oct. 15th for the following prices:

    ESV Study Hardcover- $32.99
ESV Study Tru Tone Brown- $52.49
    ESV Study Gen Black- $62.99

Our shipping rates are very reasonable. No more than $4-6 dollars, depending upon the price.

    Thanks,
    Chris Griffith

Hey Chris…I don’t mind a shameless plug every once in a while. 🙂 I appreciate the testimony concerning the new Study Bible. I’m looking forward to getting one in my hands soon after looking at so many of the chapters and notes online for months. Thanks for swinging by and giving us some info on another good online bookstore.

    Jeff,

It looks as if the ESV Study Bible has really taken the ‘Evangelical Blogoshere’ by storm! Everywhere I look, folks are speaking so highly of the ESV translation and the faithful work put into the Study Bible. I currently am reading from the ESV Classic Reference Bible and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Having read the NASB for the past eight years, my appreciation for God’s Word has been taken to a new level simply by switching to the ESV. Both translations strive for accuracy and being ‘word for word’ literal, however the ESV isn’t as difficult in reading because of its clarity of expression throughout the text. Simply put, I can’t put it down! 😉
